Falesco has been a family affair since 1979, a heritage built by two brothers Riccardo and Renzo Cotarella, now with Riccardo’s daughter Dominga involved in running the winery. The sprawling property covers 670 acres, of which 370 acres are under vine. Falesco makes one of the most exciting contemporary styles of Italian wine, resulting in numerous consulting engagements all over the world. The production areas are concentrated in a hilly area of volcanic origin in between Lazio and Umbria: the two faces of Falesco. Trentanni -produced for the first time with the 2009 vintage, is, as its name says, expressly intended and designed to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Falesco, founded in 1979 by Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella.
