Falesco has been a family affair since 1979, a heritage built by two brothers Riccardo and Renzo Cotarella, now with Riccardo’s daughter Dominga involved in running the winery. The sprawling property covers 670 acres, of which 370 acres are under vine. Falesco makes one of the most exciting contemporary styles of Italian wine, resulting in numerous consulting engagements all over the world. The production areas are concentrated in a hilly area of volcanic origin in between Lazio and Umbria: the two faces of Falesco. Tellus (Syrah, Merlot) is another new offering from Falesco. the image of Tellus has always been linked to the art world. Its label, revisited with the 2009 vintage, is in fact born during an event held in Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome, where a group of artists reported on a canvas the impressions of fans tasters.

with an intense colour and violet reflections, on the nose its scent is enhanced by hints of fresh fruit, cherry with spicy notes that blend with great balance and elegance to those of sweet and vanilla expressed from the wood. The taste is enveloping, silky, soft tannins, rich and persistent finish.
