Germany has strict rules governing the production and labeling of its quality wines. There are only 2 types of quality wines: to be classified as “QbA” quality, a wine must be produced from one of the 13 designated regions and has a natural alcohol content of at least 7%. The higher “Pradikatswein” quality suggests a quality wine with special attributes, with each wine depending on how the grapes are treated at the winery. This interesting sweet and fruity red wine is made of Dornfelder, a local German grape type.
Sweet fruity red wine with cherry and dark fruit (blackcurrant and blackberry) characters. Low alcohol percentage (8%).
14-16℃, decanting not required. Best matched with spicy dishes or dessert with berries.
